Yoga classes are welcoming and inclusive spaces. When you attend your first class, expect friendly greetings from both instructors and fellow students.

Arrive 5-10 minutes early to sign in and settle. Classes start promptly, and doors lock shortly after.

Avoid heavy meals before class. Stay hydrated, and skip gum or candy.

Keep phones away from the mat area. Maintain the serene environment.

Remove shoes before entering the yoga area.

Respect others' space and mats.

Wear comfortable, appropriate clothing suitable for movement. Avoid strong fragrances.

Maintain silence during class to support meditation.

Stay for Savasana; it's crucial for absorbing practice benefits. If you must leave early, inform the instructor beforehand.

Clean and return borrowed equipment, leaving the space tidy.
Inform the instructor you're new and follow their guidance. If unsure, position yourself at the back and observe others. When overwhelmed, rest in child's or hero's pose.
